What is KA-Optimized TKA?

KA-Optimized TKA is becoming a gold standard surgical technique for total knee replacement that resurfaces the knee to its pre-arthritic state.
The Optimization combines kinematic alignment with a KA-optimized implant design. It enables a rapid recovery of motion and activity by delivering superior functional outcomes including a 30-point improvement in the Forgotten Joint Score (FJS) like anterior approach hip arthroplasty.

"One of my primary goals in fellowship was to develop a truly comprehensive understanding of total knee arthroplasty. The KA-Optimized TKA curriculum provided that foundation and has significantly elevated my readiness to tackle any case that walks through my door."

Dr. Christian Curatolo, MD

Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction Fellow at Baptist Health

"The Core Curriculum was well-structured with clear, insightful concepts. This approach will be invaluable for my practice in Sudan."

Dr. Hisham Eljack, MD

Arthroplasty and Reconstruction Surgeon, Sharg Alneel Hospital

"I've been practicing for nearly 20 years and started KA two years ago, but there was still a gap between knowing it and fully committing. I did the Core Curriculum on a flight home, and by Monday, I applied what I learned and my cases were smoother than any I'd done before. Learning directly from the pioneers of the technique with strong evidence allowed me to fully trust myself."

Dr. Corey Ponder, MD

Orthopedic Surgeon, SSM Health Bone & Joint / OSO

Our Mission & Team

Every patient deserves a knee that moves the way it was designed to. Not a compromise. Not "good enough." A joint fully restored to its natural, pre-arthritic state.

That belief is what the KA-Optimized TKA Collective is built on, which is why we equip orthopedic surgeons and professionals with the education and peer support to master the technique that restore patients to their natural, pre-arthritic state.
