Alexander J. Nedopil,is an internationally recognized orthopedic surgeon and academic specializing in total knee and hip arthroplasty, with a strong focus on kinematic alignment, biomechanics, and implant design. He is Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Würzburg (Germany) and California Northstate University, and is affiliated with UC Davis and Adventist Health/Lodi Memorial Hospital. He completed his medical degree and doctoral training in Germany, followed by postdoctoral research at UCSF, residency training at UC Davis and Würzburg, and a joint replacement fellowship at the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Nedopil is board-certified in the United States and a Fellow of major international orthopedic societies. He has coordinated multi-institutional research collaborations across North America and Europe and has supervised numerous doctoral students and residents.
